- Nothing has been stolen yet! It took some diecussion about where to place it and where it could be bolted in place
- well made, easy to fix to wall, smooth lock.
- Easy to use and solid construction. Additional keys made available quickly
- Good solid feel and locking mechanism appears good. The fact that it is AIS and police approved gives you confidence.

Can this safe be fixed above ground level?

Thank you for contacting us. It is designed to be mounted at floor level, it can be mounted above ground level however it is not recommended without it being on a solid concrete plinth. If it were to situated on a shelf above ground level, then the shelf could be removed and the safe would not be then supported and more liable to someone removing it off the wall.

What happens if the batteries run out on this safe as it does not look like they are stored externally?

Thank you for getting in touch about this S2 electronic safe range. The safe is supplied with a battery and this is stored on the inside of the safe while there is an external battery point on the front of the lock which means a 9 volt can be connected for emergency access.

What does the cash rating of ??4,000 mean on this safe?

Thank you for contacting us about this safe. The cash rating you see is the maximum amount that an insurance company will cover you for cash stored overnight. Ratings are determined by a variety of different factors which include the quality of the lock, thickness of the door and walls as well as how the safe is constructed. This model will cover you up to ??4,000 and for valuables it is ??40,000 as the cover is a multiple of 10.
