Originally a locksmith by trade, Mr. De Raat had a vision of becoming a major supplier of high quality safes and secure storage in the international safe market. In 1967 De Raat Wholesale B.V. was created, which then changed to De Raat Security Products in 1989. The European headquarters remains in Zoetermeer to this day, however De Raat has since opened offices in Belgium and the UK and supply many markets outside of Europe.

About De Raat Security

The De Raat group of companies include manufacturing premises in Germany, Italy and Poland making it one of the largest manufacturers of security safes in Europe. The group manufactures both ‘off the shelf’ certified safes and bespoke security solutions for domestic and commercial customers.

De Raat UK originally started out as Blaylock Safes in 1995, the name changed to Safes UK Ltd before adopting the De Raat Security Products brand in 2011. The UK office, situated in Corby, Northants, holds stock and distributes to many customers throughout the UK.
