Free delivery

At Simplysafes we offer free delivery on all our products, delivery times can differ depending on the size, weight and availability of the safe.

With some of our products it might be beneficial to include the extra delivery and position service with your order. This is because safes over a certain weight will be difficult to move into a property once they have been delivered on a kerbside drop off.

Which courier is used for delivery of your items?

All the products we list on our website come in a variety of different weights and sizes. Some couriers handle certain weights and sizes better to get the delivered to you easier. We therefore use a selection of different courier companies.

What time do you deliver?

Deliveries of most items usually take place between 8am and 6pm. There are options on certain products to be delivered on an AM slot for an additional charge. If you have a specific requirement please contact us for further assistance.

How do I help prevent a delivery failure?

When you place an order with us, our checkout page contains a comments box which can be used to let us know of specific information that will help a smooth delivery. If you have selected a delivery and position or delivery and installation service we will need to know information such as which floor the item is to be delivered, floor type and parking availability.

Can you deliver items to multiple addresses?

Should you require items to be delivered to different addresses this can be done by placing a seperate order online for each address. We are also happy to accept orders by phone if you prefer to do this.

Do you have to deliver to my billing address?

We will need your billing address to process your order however we can ship to an alternative address if required. Please note we may need to go through certain security checks on orders prior to shipping to help prevent fraud.

When will my order get delivered? Also will I need to sign for the delivery?

Please check each product for how long it takes to be delivered. Most lightweight items (under 70kg) are delivered next day. We use different couriers to deliver our products and deliveries will take place between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday.

Heavy items (over 70kg) are usually delivered using a specialist company who will bring the safe into the building - please check each product for more information.

Due to the nature of the items we sell, you will be required to sign for the delivery.

Can I track my order?

The process of your order can be tracked in your account, we also send you an email to confirm when you will receive the order. If you do not receive an order confirmation or other emails from us it might be that our email has gone into your junk mail.

What happens if I am out when the item gets delivered?

If the item is sent with a courier and you are not in they will leave a card for you to rearrange delivery. It is also possible you can collect the item from the depot.

You will be contacted by telephone to book in delivery of heavier items this is normally where we offer a deliver and position service. This will be done several days in advance and agreed with you. Please ensure you are available on the agreed date as failure to do so will result in an aborted delivery. If this occurs additional charges will apply.

Do you deliver the item I ordered indoors?

For items delivered by a courier or pallet delivery they will not be brought into the building and will only be delivered to the doorstep. If the building you are in is located in a block of flats then please note it may only be delivered to the ground floor front door.

I have ordered multiple items on the same order, will I receive them together?

We sometimes have goods shipped directly from the manufacturer therefore you may receive the items on the same day but with different couriers.

Do we deliver to Highlands and the UK Isles?

Yes, it is possible for us to deliver to these areas of the UK. It normally takes longer to deliver and will in most cases attract an additional delivery charge.

Can we deliver products internationally?

Yes, it is possible for us to deliver outside of the UK. Please Contact Us for a quote.

Will I receive a phone call to let me know when delivery will take place?

On lightweight items or anything sent by courier you will not receive a call, we will inform you by email when you can expect delivery and they will be delivered on weekdays between 9am and 7pm.

If you ordered a heavier item on a deliver and position service or installation then this will be booked in with you over the phone for an agreed day.

We can arrange most items to be delivered for an additional charge and the more lightweight items will be dropped off at your door.

We can arrange for products to be delivered on a deliver and position service and deliver and installation basis if needed to the above locations. Please call one of our friendly sales team.

If an item is out of stock (and therefore will take longer to deliver) you will be notified within 24 hours of delivery (during the working week).

A signature is required on all deliveries. All items dispatched by courier will arrive Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm unless a weekend delivery has been selected.

Aborted Delivery

We regret that in the event of an aborted delivery additional charges will be payable to us and are quoted per delivery, as and when they should arise.

An aborted delivery can be due either to missing delivery information such as more steps at the delivery address than originally stated on your order or out of service lifts, inaccessible doors.
