How To Select a Home Safe?

With the cash and valuables rating, the valuables rating is always ten times the amount of the cash rating. For example –

If you were to choose this insurance rating for your home safe then this would allow you to store up to £1,000 in cash along with up to £10,000 in valuables such as watches and jewellery at the same time. It is important to select the appropriate insurance cover as over time you may want to protect more items within your home safe.

Naturally as the cash and valuables rating goes up the higher the security protection and quality of the safe increases. Which is ideal if you want to protect your valuables from burglary or theft from intruders in your house.

We recommend to buy a safe with a higher rating than the amount you are initially planning on storing in it. Sometimes insurance companies may have additional requirements on the maximum cash or valuable rating.
